An old tradition: these were the ancient Greeks, who first introduced the vine to the Crimea and the Tsar wanted to reproduce on the land of the Crimea all the wine he loved, implanting the varietals and trying to recreate the finest wines of the world. Many areas are worth visiting. You can taste the best wines of the Crimea. Ukraine has three areas with total square about 150,000 hectares under vines and the principal are in Crimea, that produces sweet wines and dessert wines.
